Tuesday     10h00 - 17h00                                                                                                                             Friday        10h00 - 17h00                                                                                                                   Saturday    10h00 - 16h00

Please note: Wednesdays and Thursdays are reserved for Productions, so we are closed to the public on those days. We are happy to reserve Fancy Dress Costumes for you and, given sufficient time, can make alterations to your choice to ensure a good fit.

By prior appointment only.

To enable us to prepare costumes to your requirements and our standards, please book an appointment which allows sufficient time to do this. Remember we are always working on several productions at once and appointment slots are often filled at least a month in advance.  Please book an appointment as soon as you have completed your auditions.

About Us:

Bath Theatrical Costume Hire was established in 1969 in Bath and has been providing costumes for various occasions ever since.

We left our quirky little shop on the London Road in Bath and moved to our Frome site in 2003 where we now house our collection of 25,000+ costumes.

Our costumes can be hired out for all types of events.

Individual customers for fancy dress/book days/period weddings etc. and to theatrical groups for period plays/operas/musicals/pantomimes etc.
